The W-FOIL has been developed by applying aerospace industry solutions from fighter jets, to marine hydrofoils.

DRIVE PODS AT HYDROFOIL TIPS
Another fighter jet wing arrangement applied to the WAVEDRIVE is the location of cylindrical drive pods at the ends of the hydrofoils. Like long range tanks or missiles located at wing-tips, this maximises the lift generated by a span-limited wing and, just as importantly, moves the centre of lift out towards the wing tips, giving increased banking torque.
This feature combines with the anhedral wing arrangement to provide unrivalled roll axis control torque.

The W-FOIL provides the manoeuvrability of a fighter jet,
with the stability of a drone.
The WaveDrive system is designed to be fully retracted at the touch of a button.
This allows WaveDrive craft to be driven on and off a trailer like a traditional vessel.
WaveDrive craft can easily be beached and stored on racks like traditional vessels.
With foils retracted WaveDrive craft can operate and explore shallower waters than traditional craft.

With the projections in battery cost, energy density and chemistry changes we have designed our drive systems and batteries to be modular and agnostic to specific battery chemistry. This ensures that when new technologies become available, ENAUTIC battery systems remain at the forefront of this fast-paced industry.
Thanks to our Rapid Recharging system we are able to recharge our vessels in under 1 hour.
Generally a 20 minute top-up charge is adequate to allow ongoing operation.
Our ability to rapid charge in under 1 hour is thanks to our battery cooling system. Using the water the boat is floating on, the batteries are cooled by transferring heat to the water.
